Day 2 Budva City Tour

Budva’s Old Town is one of the oldest settlements in the Balkans, dating back to ancient times.
Originally an island, the Old Town became a peninsula over time, surrounded by 15th-century ramparts with city gates, defensive walls, and towers.
According to legend, it was founded by Cadmus, the son of the Phoenician king Agenor, after his
exile from Thebes.
Its narrow streets and squares showcase Mediterranean heritage, including landmarks like
St. Ivan’s Church (7th century), the Church of St. Mary in Punta (built in 840 by Benedictines), and
St. Sava’s Church (14th century).Today, Budva is Montenegro’s top tourist destination, boasting 21

UNESCO World Heritage Site: The Old Town of Kotor is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its well-preserved medieval architecture and historical significance.
Bay of Kotor: Kotor is situated on the Bay of Kotor, which is often referred to as Europe’s southernmost fjord. The bay is known for its dramatic mountain backdrop and scenic beauty.
City Walls and Fortress: This city is famous for a fortress that stretches over 4.5 kilometers (2.8 miles) on the hills above the town for spectacular views of the bay and the surrounding area.

Day 5 Discover Skadar Lake

Skadar Lake lies just 7 km from the sea, with two-thirds in Montenegro and one-third in Albania.
Its size ranges from 370 to 530 km², depending on water levels.
The lake features cryptodepressions—areas below sea level—and is fed by the Morača River, draining into the Adriatic via the 41 km Buna/Bojana River, which partly marks the international border.
